Guide
Joining
- Install the Modrinth App and import FreyaCraft-latest.mrpack as a new profile. FreyaCraft is pre-listed in Multiplayer.
- First join asks you to confirm the pack server's certificate once. Its fingerprint is 683e18537442f9f7084291399a43eb43ed2cd86104ca642642b10ab083714d85 — same for everyone.
- Everything else syncs automatically on every launch (AutoModpack); mods, shaders and configs arrive on their own. Your own settings under config/ and options.txt survive.
- Send Jose your exact Minecraft profile name for the whitelist — it's the only gate.
- Already have an instance? Add the AutoModpack mod to it; the next launch pulls the rest.
- Server address: augustello.duckdns.org (Java Edition, 26.2).
Commands worth knowing
- /sethome and /home — one home per player. /tpa <player> to teleport to a friend, /back to return from a teleport, /spawn, /rtp for a random spot.
- /warp <name> — home, josemine, stef_base. /warp set <name> makes a new one; warps are open to everyone.
- /polydex search — the item and recipe browser for server-side content. /polydex entry_result <item> shows how to make it.
- /polydex hover style <id> turns on the what-am-I-looking-at readout (off by default).
- Emotes: Emotecraft is installed — look for its emote key in Controls.
Seasons
- Four seasons rotate (Serene Seasons), each with three sub-seasons. Crops care; cold seasons freeze open water in cool biomes.
- Read the season from a Calendar (8 paper + a clock), a Season Sensor block, or the badge at the top of this page.
- Keep a pool liquid in winter with block light 10+ (torches count) or a roof.
Pets and lassos
- Mob Lassos come in four tiers; stronger lassos carry more kinds of mob. 101 modded creatures are sorted in, so the snails, ducks, sharks and Animal Garden animals all work.
- Name anything you want to keep — unnamed wild-caught animals can despawn.
- Pets follow you through teleports, and you can't hit your own pets.
The map
- map.augustello.duckdns.org is the live 3D map. It's public and shows player positions — same view as the Game tab here.
How you can help
- BOP-exclusive wolf/cat coats — 26.2 made wolf_variant/cat_variant data-driven. Mapping BOP biomes onto existing coats is a trivial datapack; brand-new BOP-exclusive coats need hand-drawn art shipped via resources.zip (16×16 PNG with transparency). (help wanted: pixel art)
- Mob heads for modded mobs — Just Mob Heads covers vanilla; ~100 modded mobs have no head art. Per-mob hand-drawn art — community contributions move this from accept-as-is to possible. (help wanted: pixel art)
- warhammer_sharp per-wood sprites — Per-wood sprites for the sharp mode + an in-game test of the mode-switch behavior (what to check: mode toggle keeps the wood, damage values, enchants). (help wanted: playtesting)
