What we changed
Datapacks, patches and config we layered on top of the mods — how they were extended to work with each other, and what was fixed along the way.
Lassoed animals and wild-caught aquatic pets keep normal despawn rules until named. Slap a name tag on anything you want to keep — no named animal has ever despawned here; unnamed ones can vanish when you leave the area.
Zombies wearing helmets don't burn in the sun — vanilla behavior that More Mobs' armored variants inherit. A zombie standing in your yard at noon is probably wearing headgear.
Ender Zoology's fallen knights survived open sun unlike every other undead — they now catch fire in open daylight (shade still protects them, same as any zombie). And after 17 ducks drowned at one pond block near spawn (9, 83, −6), ducks and geese hold permanent water breathing.
About 5% of surface zombies spawn as giants — Giant Spawn working as configured, not an invasion. They burn at dawn like other zombies. If it ever feels like too many, say so; it's one setting.
The shader's waving-foliage list names vanilla plants only, so every modded plant stood rigid next to swaying grass. 109 modded flora entries (BOP, the Farmer's Delight family, Macaw's Holidays…) are appended to it.
The 28 Animal Garden mods only know vanilla biome names, so a quarter of the world would have had no new animals. A generated datapack adds every matching BOP biome (and the base's boreal forest) to their spawn lists.
With eleven wood sticks in the pack, 76 modded tool and weapon recipes would have demanded the vanilla one. They all accept any stick now.
Mob Lassos only lists vanilla creatures. 101 modded mobs are sorted into its four lasso tiers, so the snails, ducks, sharks and the rest are all catchable.
Their visuals arrive in a small server-sent resource pack on join. If the download ever fails you aren't kicked — blocks just show missing textures until you relaunch.
Craft it with a birch stick and the handle renders birch. The prototype covers the diamond greatsword; the rest of the Weapons Expanded line is built and waiting for a deploy window.
More Rail Variants ships an older copy of the abandoned-mineshaft chest table that would have silently dropped two of 26.2's loot entries. Our copy restores the current vanilla table and keeps the mod's rail additions.
Everything outside the kept base area regenerated on 2026-08-09, and anything the world places — biomes, structures, animal spawns — shows up only in chunks generated since. Craftable content works everywhere immediately.
Its blocks live on the server (via Polymer), so the client-side item browser never sees them. Browse them with /polydex search, and /polydex entry_result <item> for how to craft something.
A datapack overrides the handful of mod data files 26.2 rejects (More Mobs' creeper-skeleton bow clear, for one), so they load instead of erroring.
Fifteen structure mods would crowd the world if each placed at its own default rate. A world datapack caps every adopted mod's structure sets at roughly the same spacing (~49 placement attempts per 1,000 chunks across the whole roster), so you get the variety without a castle on every hill.
Polydex's hover tooltip ships off. Turn it on with /polydex hover style <id> (tab-complete the id), then /polydex hover displaymode ALWAYS, SNEAKING or TARGET.
Zombified Player spawns a hostile copy of you when you die. Inventory transfer is off — the zombie is empty-handed and your grave holds everything, so there's no race to kill yourself before someone else does.
image2map was ops-only, which with zero ops meant nobody. It renders a picture from a URL onto a map item — /image2map and tab-complete from there.
Inventory Sorter's button moved to a separate slot so it stops colliding with Traveler's Backpack's equip button.
players_sleeping_percentage is 1, so a single bed skips the night for everyone.
Anyone can set, use and delete warps (/warp, /warp set <name>) — not just ops. Current warps: home, josemine, stef_base.
Early Spring, Late Autumn and all three Winters push cool biomes below freezing, so pools ice over. Block light 10 or higher, or a roof, keeps water liquid — no config needed. Read the season from a Calendar (8 paper + a clock), a Season Sensor, or the badge at the top of this site; /season is op-only.
